Our founder, Frank, started Pretty Frank after struggling for years to find effective products that were also good for his sensitive skin. Now we’re on a mission to help others find their perfect match!
Our Story
It all began when Frank was looking for a natural deodorant that actually worked for him. He has very sensitive skin that would get irritated from most mainstream deodorants. Frank tried every natural deodorant he could find, but they either caused a rash or didn’t provide much odor protection.
After years of frustrating trial and error, Frank decided to get creative and make his own natural deodorant. He researched ingredients extensively to find options that were gentle yet effective. It took a lot of kitchen chemistry, but Frank finally landed on a formula that checked all the boxes. His homemade deodorant became a staple in his self care routine.
Once family and friends got wind of Frank’s creation, they all wanted to try it for themselves. Everyone who tested it loved the deodorant and asked if they could buy some. Sensing an opportunity, Frank started making small batches to sell locally. The community response was so positive that he expanded distribution to vendors and small retail shops.
Demand continued to grow organically through word of mouth. As more people shared how much they loved the products, Frank realized he was onto something special. In 2021, he made the leap and founded Pretty Frank! The business allows Frank to share his passion for simple, natural care on a wider scale.

Baking Soda Free Deodorant
This was the product that started it all! After dealing with irritation from baking soda formulas, Frank created a super gentle deodorant that relies on arrowroot powder, tapioca starch, and kaolin clay to soak up odor. It’s perfect for those with sensitive underarms. We offer convenient sticks along with our signature deodorant jars.
Baking Soda Deodorant
While baking soda can be irritating for some, others find it helps provide superior odor and wetness protection. For those who can tolerate it, we offer baking soda deodorant sticks and jars. They have a smooth texture and light scent.
Oral Care
Caring for your whole body includes the mouth! Our fluoride-free toothpaste and activated charcoal teeth whitening powder gently clean teeth without harsh chemicals. We also offer breath-freshening mouthwash and tongue scrapers.
Body Care
Pretty Frank body products nourish skin naturally. Our lotion bars, sugar scrubs, and essential oil roller balls are handcrafted with plant-based ingredients. We never use artificial fragrances or preservatives. Instead, you’ll find luxurious scents from pure essential oils.

- Essential oils: We use pure, undiluted essential oils to add beneficial aromatic qualities. Their antimicrobial properties also help with odor control.
- Clays: Bentonite and French green clays adsorb impurities from the skin.

Our Process
While we’ve grown over the years, Pretty Frank retains a handcrafted, small batch process. We manufacture all our own products in Frank’s certified organic kitchen. This gives us complete control over ingredient quality and freshness.
- We source many herbs, clays, and salts directly from small American farms. Quality oils and butters come from fair trade collectives around the world.
- Each ingredient is carefully weighed and mixed in small batches. Products are hand poured into recyclable tubes, tins, and jars.
- Our team visually inspects every product for consistency, scent, and appearance. Then products cure for a minimum of two weeks before shipping out. This allows the ingredients to fully synergize.
- We continue to use Frank’s original recipes that were perfected through years of artisanal testing. Customers love the balmy texture and light scent profile our formulas provide.
While labor intensive, small batch processing lets us deliver the safest, freshest products. We take pride in manually crafting each item you receive.
